DAB - Digital Audio Broadcasting
Also known as Eureka 147, is a digital radio technology for broadcasting radio stations, used in several countries, particularly in Europe. As of 2006, approximately 1,000 stations worldwide broadcast in the DAB format.VHF - Very high frequency
Is the radio frequency range from 30 MHz to 300 MHz. Frequencies immediately below VHF are denoted High frequency (HF), and the next higher frequencies are known as Ultra high frequency (UHF).UHF - Ultra high frequency
Designates a range (band) of electromagnetic waves with frequencies between 300 MHz and 3 GHz (3,000 MHz). Also known as the decimetre band or decimetre wave as the wavelengths range from ten to one decimetres.TEXTRA-TX - Terrestrial Trunked Radio
A standard for digital, cellular and trunked radio networks which has been designed and developed notably as a mobile system for handling emergency and safety tasks.
